    Privacy Policy

    Effective September 2, 2026

The Estate Edit ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using estatedit.com (the "Site") or our membership services, you agree to the terms below.

    1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

    • Account information: name, email address, and password when you create a Free Access or paid membership account.
    • Payment information: billing details are collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
    • Membership activity: the templates you view, download, copy, or schedule, and any captions or content you save.
    • Communications: messages you send through our contact form or directly to our support email.
    • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and basic usage logs collected automatically when you visit the Site.

    2. Connecting Your Instagram and Facebook Accounts

The Estate Edit can publish content to your own Instagram Business account and Facebook Page. This only happens if you choose to connect those accounts from the Publishing Setup screen in your member area. Connecting is entirely optional — the rest of the service works without it.

What we receive when you connect. When you complete Meta's authorization flow, we receive and store:

    • an access token that lets us publish on your behalf, and the date it expires;
    • the ID and username of the Instagram Business account you selected;
    • the ID and name of the Facebook Page that account is linked to, and that Page's access token.

What we do with it. We use these solely to (a) show you which account and Page you connected, and (b) publish the posts that you create and schedule in The Estate Edit, at the times you choose. We publish only content you have created or approved, and only to the accounts you connected.

What we do not do. We do not read your Instagram media, followers, comments, direct messages, or audience insights. We do not read the personal data of people who follow or interact with your account. We do not post anything you have not created or scheduled. We do not sell, rent, or share your Meta data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

How long we keep it. We keep your access tokens for as long as your account remains connected. If you click Disconnect in Publishing Setup, we delete the stored credentials for that platform immediately. If you delete your account, they are removed along with the rest of your data.

Revoking access. You can disconnect at any time from Publishing Setup. You can also revoke The Estate Edit's access directly from Meta at any time, under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations on Facebook. Revoking from either side stops all publishing.

Data deletion. To request deletion of all data we hold about you, including any stored Meta credentials, follow the instructions at estatedit.com/data-deletion.

    3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

    • Provide, maintain, and improve the Site and membership services.
    • Process payments, manage subscriptions, and send transactional emails (receipts, renewal notices, password resets).
    • Personalize your experience and recommend relevant content.
    • Respond to your support requests and communications.
    • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security issues.
    • Comply with applicable laws and enforce our Terms of Service.

    4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with trusted third parties who help us operate the Site. These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations:

    • Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
    • Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
    • Meta Platforms (Instagram & Facebook) — only if you connect your accounts; used to publish the posts you schedule, as described in Section 2.
    • Lovable — application hosting (during the build phase).
    • Email delivery providers — transactional and marketing emails.
    • Google (Analytics & Ads) — aggregate usage analytics and advertising measurement.
    • Rewardful — affiliate/partner referral tracking.

We do not sell your personal information. Our use of advertising cookies may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain state laws; see our Cookie & Tracking Preferences page for how to opt out. We never share your information with data brokers.

    5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Site (to keep you logged in and remember your session), as well as Google Analytics for aggregate usage analytics, Google Ads for advertising measurement and retargeting, and Rewardful for affiliate referral tracking. The non-essential cookies can be opted out of — see our Cookie & Tracking Preferences page for the full list and opt-out methods.

    6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account at any time.

    7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live (including residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah, as well as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), you may have the right to:

    • Access the personal information we hold about you.
    • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
    • Request deletion of your information.
    • Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
    • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
    • Opt out of marketing communications at any time.

    8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest where supported by our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    9. Children

The Site is intended for adults working in real estate. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

    10. International Users

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country.

    11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Site.
